“For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— not by works, so that no one can boast.” (Ephesians 2:8-9)
Grace is "unmerited favor" from God, something we have not worked for. God loved the world so much that He gave, His only son so that we may be saved. We have been given so much that if you think about it you will be astounded. Eternal life with Christ. The ability and authority to receive from the heavenly Father.

Here's today's Word
“For, "All men are like grass, and all their glory is like the flowers of the field; the grass withers and the flowers fall, but the word of the Lord stands forever." And this is the word that was preached to you.” (1 Peter 1:24-25)
The word is eternal. It is as solid as a rock. That is why Jesus says, “ he who listens and does what I say is like a wise man who built on solid ground/ firm foundation and the storms of life could not shake down his house.” Today I dare you to act upon His word. Love thy neighbor as yourself, seek His kingdom and righteousness (His ways and His way of doing things), basically, just walk in love.

“Restore to me the joy of your salvation and grant me a willing spirit, to sustain me.” (Psalm 51:12)
This means the following: “Lord, give us back the joy or happiness of your salvation (Preservation or deliverance from destruction, difficulty, or evil ) and give us the ability to keep it and not wonder astray from you.” You may ask the Lord this and He will provide to you joy unspeakable. Remember, “the joy of the Lord is my strength.”
