Money is not our provision, God is. He provides the seed to sower, He meets your need, He gives you your hearts desires, it is not money. For too long we (Christians) have looked at a situation and hope/prayed for money for it but not actually praying for the situation to meet by God, we are determining His means of provision. Money is just a tool on this earth for people to have order in obtaining things of this earth. Imagine if everything was for free…..the people were going to fight over that certain thing, they might even kill each other. The Bible says that “man’s heart is evil”. But the greed of money becomes incorrect….
Some people find joy when they see their bank account is full, or they have money in their pockets, What happen to the Joy of the Lord? Search yourself to see if money or things of this world is the centre of your joy…..Seek first the Kingdom and all these things shall be added unto you. Therefore if you work harder in getting a car, than working harder to spend time with the Lord and serve Him, then you have things the other way around. Let me put it this way: if it gives you greater joy to drive a BMW/live in Umhlanga than spending time in His Presence, then you got things turned the other way around, He is our first love.
We tend to put money before God, and this is idle worship! Our prayers are based on needing money than needing His Provision. A situation of need is just to test you if you trust in Him or your own means, some start by the loan shark before asking for the Lord’s provision, Who is first,kanti? We are just stewards of the works of His hands, He owns the gold and the silver, you are just entrusted(Matthew25:14) with it, and as He has entrusted you with His possessions, He has given you orders regarding them:
1. Pay tithes (10% of what is entrusted to you)
2. Give to the needy (not poor , but needy this means anyone in need)
3. Pay offerings
These 3 instructions are to keep the everything flowing and accessibility of things be primary to all. If you practice these 3money principles, there’ll never be a lack in your life, because you understand the Source of the money and how He wants it to be used. But we are not on discussing these 3principles of money, these can be done another day, God willing.
Let us know who is our Source, and meditate on Him through His Word, have faith in Him, let Him be indeed first in all things in our lives, our firstfruits, our Beginning and our End. We need to walk in a dimension of faith, where money plays no value, it is the Lord who is the Source and Result, our own wilderness, just like the children of Israel, where all their gold (money) did not matter, they desperately needed Provision from God for food, shade and light. Their money couldn’t buy them manna, cloud, fire…their need could only be filled by God. There’s a lot for us to learn from this situation, because first of all , it was God who told them to get the gold and silver, then He lead them to the wilderness where their gold had no value, but only God. It is God who gives you the money but remember that it is He who holds more value than money, seek Him first and He can supply above what you think or can ever imagine.
If you don’t have money now, it doesn’t mean you are going to die, or it doesn’t mean you are of no value, you must know what God says, and what God says is law, it must be done, so seek Him and all things will follow!!!

Todays word is taken from Matthew:20 1-16
The Parable of the Workers in the Vineyard
1"For the kingdom of heaven is like a landowner who went out early in the morning to hire men to work in his vineyard. 2He agreed to pay them a denarius for the day and sent them into his vineyard.
3"About the third hour he went out and saw others standing in the marketplace doing nothing. 4He told them, 'You also go and work in my vineyard, and I will pay you whatever is right.' 5So they went.
"He went out again about the sixth hour and the ninth hour and did the same thing. 6About the eleventh hour he went out and found still others standing around. He asked them, 'Why have you been standing here all day long doing nothing?'
7" 'Because no one has hired us,' they answered.
"He said to them, 'You also go and work in my vineyard.'
8"When evening came, the owner of the vineyard said to his foreman, 'Call the workers and pay them their wages, beginning with the last ones hired and going on to the first.'
9"The workers who were hired about the eleventh hour came and each received a denarius. 10So when those came who were hired first, they expected to receive more. But each one of them also received a denarius. 11When they received it, they began to grumble against the landowner. 12'These men who were hired last worked only one hour,' they said, 'and you have made them equal to us who have borne the burden of the work and the heat of the day.'
13"But he answered one of them, 'Friend, I am not being unfair to you. Didn't you agree to work for a denarius? 14Take your pay and go. I want to give the man who was hired last the same as I gave you. 15Don't I have the right to do what I want with my own money? Or are you envious because I am generous?'
16"So the last will be first, and the first will be last."

In HIS eyes we are all the same, no one better than the other. Therefore we cannot gloat about "our salvation" and how saved we are, as we have received HIS salvation when we did not know HIM, and HE saved us. We need to love others, even the unsaved so they will see the light within us, so they can be saved, even the saved who haved stumbled will be reminded about CHRIST and follow HIM.
Lets all do our little bit by loving one another as HE has loved us.

Pick Up Your Cross
Mark 8:34 amplified
34And Jesus called [to them] the crowd with His disciples and said to them, If anyone intends to come after Me, let him deny himself [forget, ignore, disown, and [a]lose sight of himself and his own interests] and take up his cross, and [[b]joining Me as a disciple and siding with My party] follow [c]with Me [continually, cleaving steadfastly to Me].
It is better to live for Christ than to have everything and not know HIM. Christ is eternal life, the Son of the Living God. If we really want to be HIS disciples we are to forget about our personal interests and do HIS will daily. What is HIS will or interests?
It is to have everyone saved and the saved to live in HIM and like HIM.
Prayer:
Thank you heavenly Father, for your name is glorious,most precious and wonderful.
May it be kept holy forever more.
thank you Lord for revealing Your word and love to us.
We don't know how to truely thank you, for your salvation is awesome.
Thank you for Your mercy.
Blessed be your name o' Creator of heaven and earth. There is none like You.
Honour belongs to You, righteous You are. Praise and glory be to God. The ancient King.

Brand New
1 Peter 2:1-3
So rid yourselves of all wickedness, all deceit, hypocrisy, envy, and all slander. Like newborn infants, desire the unadulterated spiritual milk, so that you may grow by in it[your] salvation, since you have tasted that the Lord is good.
In this verse, Peter talks about leaving all bad characteristics so we can become like newborn infants seeking spiritual milk that we may grow in the Lord. We cannot grow in the Lord if we still have attitudes and characteristics of the world, but we have to be like newborns who are blameless yet desiring spiritual milk. Lets replace the old attitudes with HIS righteousness(abiding in His ways) always.
Definitions:
Deceit : conceiling the truth
Envy : discontent arouse by another's better fortune (jealous of other's fortune )
Hyprocrisy: pretence, false claim to virtue.
Wickedness: immoral, sinful, spiteful, private jealousy
Slander : false and damaging utterance about a person.
Have a great day people of God and strive to be different in all you do, putting God first. God bless.
