1 Peter 2:1-3
So rid yourselves of all wickedness, all deceit, hypocrisy, envy, and all slander. Like newborn infants, desire the unadulterated spiritual milk, so that you may grow by in it[your] salvation, since you have tasted that the Lord is good.
In this verse, Peter talks about leaving all bad characteristics so we can become like newborn infants seeking spiritual milk that we may grow in the Lord. We cannot grow in the Lord if we still have attitudes and characteristics of the world, but we have to be like newborns who are blameless yet desiring spiritual milk. Lets replace the old attitudes with HIS righteousness(abiding in His ways) always.
