Here's today's Word
“ And there were shepherds living out in the fields nearby, keeping watch over their flocks at night. An angel of the Lord appeared to them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were terrified. But the angel said to them, "Do not be afraid. I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all the people. Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is Christ the Lord.” (Luke 2:8-11)
The Lord was born to redeem all of man from their transgressions. He is the joy of heaven, the prince of peace and King of kings. We are kings and priests under Him and He is our High Priest. God the Father calls us a royal priesthood. Know this today, that the Lord our Savior, Jesus Christ, came to restore a relationship that was lost forever with God the Father. We have been adopted into the royal family. Give praises to Him, who is eternal.
